Male Reconstructive and Cosmetic Urology has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by increased life expectancy, patients’ growing demand for functional and aesthetic quality, and the continuous evolution of surgical techniques, devices, and biomaterials. Procedures such as penile prosthesis implantation, surgical treatment of male urinary incontinence, and genital aesthetics have come to occupy a central role in contemporary urological practice, requiring specialists to have solid technical training, exercise careful patient selection, and be well-versed in potential complications.
The Recontech Andro course : Hands-on in Penile Prostheses, Penile Aesthetics, and Male Incontinence, which will take place from May 25 to 31, 2026, was developed to meet this demand, offering comprehensive training that integrates in-depth theoretical knowledge, discussion of clinical cases, and structured hands-on training. The program covers everything from the fundamentals, indications, and preoperative planning to the performance of surgical techniques, intra- and postoperative management, reoperations, and critical evaluation of functional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
The theoretical curriculum provides a detailed overview of the treatment of refractory erectile dysfunction with penile prostheses, the modern approach to male urinary incontinence using slings and artificial urinary sphincters, as well as the main procedures in male genital aesthetics, including penile augmentation, Peyronie’s disease, and pubic surgeries. All content is structured with a focus on evidence-based decision-making, managing patient expectations, medical ethics, and practical application in the specialist’s daily practice.
Practical classes are one of the course’s key distinguishing features, featuring supervised hands-on training in penile augmentation with hyaluronic acid, cadaver labs on penile prostheses and male urinary incontinence, as well as observation of surgeries performed by experienced specialists. This methodology allows participants to experience applied anatomy, essential technical steps, and surgical pitfalls firsthand, promoting safe, critical, and highly practical learning that is directly applicable to clinical practice.
Scolla offers a modern facility, fully equipped for surgical simulation and advanced training, providing an immersive experience of the highest academic standard. Our goal is to train physicians to practice with technical excellence, safety, ethics, and a comprehensive perspective, effectively meeting the growing demand for functional and aesthetic treatments in male urology.
